The Grand Man by *Razet:iconRazet:

In a hospital three doors to the right of a hall...
At 9:57 A.M. a boy was born by law.
It's the summer of fifty-nine...
The greatest thing ever to happen in Doverman's life.
For all he ever wanted was a boy...
Now he has one and feels unsurpassed joy.
The kid was taught like all the others...
He had a strong father and an understanding mother.
Was also raised in respect with high mentions.
Never spoke for himself or gave opinions.
When you grow up you will learn...
The same things your dad did in his turn.
Listen closely that now you will make a stand...
You must grow up to be a grand man.
Away from home to study the boy left...
Now going up against life's hardest test.
As he was away from his hometown he forgot...
The things his dad of manhood taught.
He changed the way he walked at first...
Then started wearing lip stick, purse and a skirt.
Some people commented that one day...
The boy now a girl went to see his dad for now he's become gay.
He went to visit his dad with out sending a note...
His dad wasn't ready for it for the boy never about it wrote.
On the streets a girl called to Doverman.
"Hey there daddy how's it been?
I'm your son, don't you recognize me?
The new grand man is who you now see."
The secret of a person on the outside doesn't lay...
One should always judge by what's inside.
Doverman listened to his friends...
But not to his son like he should of instead.
For this reason he abandon his son forever...
Doverman was very angry but his choice wasn't very clever.
One can not override nature's creations...
Live in peace cause it's their life and their selections.
Hey Doverman best be happy with what you have...
Best live and let live then setting up halve.
If from the sky you get lemon in a burst of rain...
Just get them and learn to make lemonade.
Then as the years when on by...
His son started not to write...
And as everyone got older...
Doverman started to try his son consider.
But it was to late and in a trip to the mall...
His cell phone ringed with the saddest call of all.
In the hall way of the same hospital in a room...
There on the bed Doverman's son very sick stood.
Two days later of a very strange illness died...
Doverman never in his life so much has cried.
There Doverman sat next to his son in room number ten...
Screaming out loud to god to be forgiven.
That moment was in the summer of eighty-six...
The story of a father and son ended like this.
Remember my friend to the lesson I send...
We can't just hate just because we don't understand.
Come on everyone, we have to have compassion...
Everyone has a meaning in life's ever growing evolution.
If all you're emotions you intend to just go on and block...
Then the one that has no sins let him be the first to throw a rock.
The one that decides never to forgive...
His life only sadness is bound to eternally give.
So you best heed my words and the facts know...
Or you will spend all your life in your own inferno.
I'm the the creator of this poem...
Remember me for my name is Cristian Dolon...
This dedication goes to the rejected bi's and gays that in life walk alone.
